Arrival

I have arrived this morning in Lira. I landed in Entebbe about four days ago. I spent the first days with Eddie in Kampala and we got some things done for the wedding. It felt so good to land and feel that I was really home! I was so excited as the plane landed that I would get to see Eddie so soon, but then was saddened by the one hour line that I proceeded to stand in for immigration. By the time I got through it, I was more tired than excited. However on seeing Eddie for the first time in years, the tiredness melted away. Anyway, we visited the school yesterday and I am excited to teach there. I have heard only good things from the staff and my Ugandan National friends. It seems that it truly is a friendly school.

Now that I have arrived in Lira I have more access to the internet and should be able to update this more frequently. So until then.
